In November 2006, a new education act went through Parliament which laid down a national entitlement for all 14-19 year olds. From September 2013, all young people will be entitled to follow one of three pathways at 14+, and one of four pathways at 16+.
To help employers make sense of these changes, the Lincolnshire Partnership of schools, colleges and workbased learning providers have arranged an information evening on 20 January 2010 at University of Lincoln.
This is an opportunity for you to discover what the new pathways are, what progress has been made to prepare for these changes and what is yet to be developed in the next two/three years. There will be experts who will be able to answer your questions on the pathways, how the existing qualifications have changed, what the new qualifications look like and where you can go for further help.
