The EBP are one of only 34 organisations in the UK to be awarded a badge of honour for organising inspirational, high quality activities during Global Entrepreneurship Week 2009.
During Global Entrepreneurship Week 2009, the EBP hosted a Dragons' Den event this was an event for secondary school students in Lincolnshire & Rutland. They completed a business plan which was judged by a panel of local business volunteers. The aims of the event were to enable students to recognise their creativity and enterprising skills and to give students the opportunity to present to a panel of business volunteers in a professional scenario out of their day-to-day school environment.

The EBP also hosted Vans 'R' Us which is an activity for primary school pupils which aims to develop their understanding of global issues and international transport networks through the location of a van manufacturing plant. Pupils had to review factors affecting their chosen country, understand the cost implications and have drawn a plan of their location and worked in teams to deliver a presentation.
